25 Going on Self-Help Guru

No, I don't think I have it all figured out, but I feel like my time of late is often consumed with actively trying to and sharing those trials, successful or not, with others. Food choices. Waste disbursement. Getting organized (or habitual) enough to find my keys. Budgeting. Is this part of quarter century development or is it just me? And if it is quarter century development, I guess I'm a late bloomer...

I like this tool for adopting habits -- a wallet-sized daily calendar, a la Jerry Seinfeld: http://www.devondelapp.com/weblog/?entry=253354

I write what I have to do the next day on a 3x5 index card when I get in bed and my brain is clearish. It helps me let go so I can sleep and is, of course, helpful the next day! For long-term plans I write them on post its and stick them on my computer monitor. Kind of a low-tech device for a high-tech sticky board, eh?

These things don't help me form mindless habits...I'm pretty good with my keys. :)
